Just like any other couple, Harville and Helen experienced a power struggle where they attempted to change, coerce, and threaten each other to be “more like me.” A critical comment would degenerate into loud arguments. Blaming each other was a common focus of conversation.
Harville and Helen co-created Imago Relationship Therapy to promote the transformation of couples and families by a creating relational culture that support universal equality. In addition, they’ve developed resources that help couples, families, and educators strengthen their relationship knowledge and skills. They are the co-founders of Imago Relationships International, a non-profit organization that has trained over 2,000 therapists and educators in 51 countries around the world.
Harville and Helen will host their Getting the Love You Want Workshop online.
The Getting the Love You Want livestream workshop, based on Imago Relationship Therapy, gives couples the concepts and skills they need to cocreate a safe relationship, experience and sustain deep connecting, and experience joyful aliveness.
During this weekend workshop streamed live from Omega’s Rhinebeck campus, couples use the Imago Process to transform their unconscious relationship, in which they were opponents, to a conscious partnership in which they co-create their dream relationship. In the process of becoming connected to each other, partners experience connecting to a larger reality, which makes intimate partnership a spiritual path.
Together with your partner, you learn a new way to talk, how to remove negativity, and practice daily connecting behaviors which activate the innate healing powers of intimate partnership, transforming conflict in any relationship to connecting.
This workshop is also offered internationally by Imago certified workshop presenters. Given its worldwide distribution over the past thirty years, it has helped thousands of couples transform their relationship, their lives and improve their overall well-being.
Whether your relationship is new or old, whether in crisis or in love, whether you are married or unmarried, you are invited to attend this transformative online workshop.
Note: Tuition is PER COUPLE and includes workshop handouts. Only one registration is required per couple.
For registered participants, this livestream workshop will be available on demand until August 18, 2023. The weekend workshop is also offered on Omega’s Rhinebeck, New York, campus June 16-18 and September 22-24. Learn more.
